Post Xmas Blues...

Wow it's a hot one in Sydney today. The kids are on their 3rd zooper dooper and I'm begging them to let me have a little afternoon nap. Billie got monopoly for Xmas so we're halfway through a game, I begged her for a break, she's a spender, it's hilarious. She's buying all the property like there is no tomorrow, lucky it's Monopoly money! I was feeling really anxious yesterday, don't know if it was just post xmas blues?? Hubby went back to work yesterday after being home for a month with us so I think the reality of that was setting in too. I just read a really great quote that hit home & thought I'd share it with you. "If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present". Maybe that should be my New Years resolution? Anyway, I hope you are all having a lovely break and spending time with your loved ones. X
