Seeing the handwriting of someone you have loved and lost is very precious, I love making these cushions to help people feel close to their loved ones. These cushions have been made for comfort and also inspiration.
One client's son was very seriously injured and wrote on a piece of paper, BE STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY" he kept that piece of paper on his mirror and looked at it every day. Fully recovered his Mum sent me a jpeg of that piece of paper and we made it into a cushion he can treasure just to remind him every day of how far he has come.
We have made one with Mum's scone recipe, just to bring back memories. A wife reached out to me and ordered one for her husband's 30th birthday with his Mum's handwriting on it from a card when he was younger, he was absolutely blown away.
We also made one for a 15 yr old boy who had recently lost his Dad to brain cancer. His Mum sent me a picture of a card with his Dad's writing on it. The message he sent to me after he received it was something I will never forget.
